The R4300 accepts the modules as shown in the positions in Figure 18.

R4300 Modules
Install R4300 modules by sliding them into their respective bays and seating the
connector. Connect, Management, and Network modules are hot-swappable, and can
be replaced without affecting any existing switching configurations within the chassis.
A small label on each module indicates its position in the R4300, as shown below.
