DHCP Enabled
(enabled by default)

Specifies whether to use the DHCP
server to obtain information such
as its IP address, its subnet mask,
and the IP addresses of the network
gateway and the DNS, NTP, and
TFTP servers.

If this parameter is 0, you must
manually specify the IP address of
the phone, and the subnet mask and
the network gateway (default
router) used by the phone.

1.

Unlock configuration parameters.

2.

Scroll to the DHCP Enabled
parameter and press the No softkey to
disable DHCP, or press the Yes
softkey to enable DHCP.

3.

Press the Save softkey.

TFTP Enabled

Enables or disables downloading
of a profile from a TFTP server. If
you set this parameter to Yes and
subsequently make changes using
the web interface, you must set this
parameter to No before saving
those changes; otherwise, the
changes will be overwritten by the
profile obtained from a TFTP
server.

If you set this parameter to Yes and
do not specify a TFTP server, the
phone will use the TFTP IP address
or URL obtained from the DHCP
server to contact the TFTP server.
If you set this parameter to Yes, set
the Alternate TFTP parameter to
Yes, and specify a value for the
TFTP Server parameter, the phone
will use the server that you specify.

1.

Unlock configuration parameters.

2.

Scroll to the TFTP Enabled
parameter and press the No softkey to
disable TFTP, or press the Yes
softkey to enable TFTP.
