Musica MU5066ADC. The Musica (ADC)

Audio Distribution Center is the heart

and backbone of the Musica Multi-Room Audio system. It powers all the
keypads, stores and directs all the IR commands, is the input switcher for all
the global audio sources, and contains interfaces for other home systems.
MUR2EM. a web-based browser interface for control of most of the features
offered by a Musica MU5066 Multi-Room Audio system. The MUR2EM
provides realtime, two-way control of the entire Musica MU5066 Multi-Room
Audio system using web pages on a browser-equipped device (such as a
computer or wireless PDA with Adobe

®

Flash

®

).

Preset. Programmable button.

RCA Cable. The standard, single-ended analog cables used to connect audio
and video devices to each other. Typically, they are color-coded: red, white,
and yellow. Red is for right channel audio. White is for left channel audio.
Yellow is for video.
Registered Jack 45 (RJ45) - Modular 8 pin connector.
Room. See Zone.
RS-232. A serial device control protocol that allows for computers to control
video decks and other hardware.

Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF). A format for sending digital audio
information.
Source. A video or audio input signal, such as DVD or CD player.
SpeakerLinX. The DigiLinX component that functions as the room controller
and amplifier and has a built-in web server for the user interface.
S-Video. Separated Video, an encoded video signal which separates the
luminance (brightness) and chrominance (color) signals; it improves the picture
quality when connecting televisions and video projectors to any high quality
video source such as Digital Broadcast, Satellite, D-VHS and DVD’s.
SwitchLinX. The DigiLinX component that handles distributing signals.

TouchLinX. The DigiLinX component that provides an in-wall touch screen that
includes a four-port Ethernet switch and power input/output for distribution.

VIM. Video Interface Module. A port used for expanding the video capabilities
of a device.

Z

Zone. An area containing one set of devices connected to a Panorama
PAN6400 VDC and/or Musica MU5066ADC (such as a monitor, receiver,
speakers, KeyLinX, etc.). See also, Room.
