Configuration

To configure the

920i

indicator, the indicator must be

placed in setup mode. The setup switch is accessed by

removing the large fillister head screw on the

backplate of the universal and deep enclosures.

Switch position is changed by inserting a screwdriver

into the access hole and pressing the switch.

When the indicator is placed in setup mode, a series of

menus is shown across the top of the display, along

with the words

Scale Configuration

. The SCALES menu

is highlighted as the first used to configure the

indicator. Detailed descriptions of these menus are

provided in Section 3.2.
When configuration is complete, press the

Save and

softkey to exit setup mode, then replace the setup

switch access screw.

iRev Configuration

The

iRev

configuration utility provides the preferred

method for configuring the

920i

indicator.

iRev

runs

on a personal computer to set configuration

parameters for the indicator. When

iRev

configuration

is complete, configuration data is downloaded to the

indicator.

iRev

supports both uploading and downloading of

indicator configuration data. This capability allows

configuration data to be retrieved from one indicator,

edited, then downloaded to another indicator with an

identical hardware configuration.

Figure 3-1. iRev Hardware Configuration Display

To use

iRev

, do the following:

1. Install

iRev

on an IBM-compatible personal

on the indicator serial port.

3. Power up the PC and the indicator. Use the

setup switch to place the indicator in setup
