3.3 Account Configuration

Use the Account Configuration screen to add new user accounts, edit existing accounts, or
delete accounts. There must be at least one Supervisor account. The 9145ELB NID allows up to
24 user accounts. Four telnet sessions may take place at the same time. Only one FTP session
may take place at any time.

NOTE: Any action that affects the network configuration of the 9145ELB (for example, changing
the IP address) will disconnect all telnet sessions.

From the System Configuration menu, select Account Configuration (4). The Account
Configuration screen (Figure 3-19) opens.

1. Username The name of the new account you wish to add to the user list.

2. Account State Whether the account is enabled or disabled.

3. Access From Determines how the user can access this account.

4. Access Level The security level required to access this account.

5. Description The account type.

6. Locked Out Whether the Supervisor has locked the user out of the system.
