To Sample A Sound
After choosing the sound you want to
sample and the sampling method,
press the SAMPLE selector (§). The
VSS-200 will subsequently sound a
"beep", then sample the desired
sound. After the sound is sampled, the
VSS-200 will play it back automatically
for confirmation and "SP" will be
shown on the LED indicator for 2
seconds approx. During this time, no
voice will sound when the keys are
pressed {the same applies for
subsequently described sampling
methods).
• Press the OVER WRITE selector @
after a sound has been sampled and
you can obtain a "sound on sound"
effect by adding another sample to the
voice you already sampled.
• Press the FROM VOICE BANK selector
@ to sample voice from the VSS-200's
preset voices and the keyboard can
then process the voices.When you
press this selector the voice which had
been selected will sample
automatically after a "beep” sound.
And then the sampled voice will be
sound automatically for confirmation
and "SP" will be shown on the LED
indicator.
Sampling time and key assignment

Sampling time is about 1.9 seconds and
the sampled voice will be assigned to Cd
key. Thus applies to all sampling methods
except FROM VOICE BANK sampling.

• Drücken Sie, nachdem Sie einen Klang
und die entsprechende Sampling-
Methode gewählt haben, die SAMPLE-
Taste @. Das VSS-200 gibt daraufhin
einen Signalton ab, wonach Sie die
gewünschte Sampling-Klangquelle
aufnehmen können. Als
Aufnahmebestätigung spielt das VSS-
200 anschließend den Sampling-Sound
automatisch ab, wobei in der LED-
Anzeige gleichzeitig ''SP'' für die Dauer
von etwa 2 Sekunden erscheint.
Während dieser Dauer wird bei einem
Tastenanschlag kein Klang erzeugt (das
gleiche für alle nachfolgend
beschriebenen Sampling-Methoden).
• Durch Drücken der Taste OVER WRITE
@ nach dem Sampling-Vorgang
entsteht durch Hinzufügen eines
anderen Sampling-Sounds zu dem
bereits aufgenommenen Klang ein
"Klangketten"-Effekt.
• Drücken Sie die Taste FROM VOICE
BANK (S), um eine der voreingestellten
Stimmen des VSS-200 aufzunehmen,
die anschließend vom Keyboard
bearbeitet werden können. Bei
Drücken dieser Taste wird die gewählte
Stimme nach dem Erklingen des
Signaltons automatisch aufgenommen.
Anschließend wird die aufgenommene
Stimme zur Bestätigung automatisch
wiedergegeben, und die LED-Anzeige
zeigt "SP”.
Sampling-Zeit und
Tastenzuordnung für eine

Die Sampling-Zeit beträgt etwa 1,9
Sekunden und die aufgenommene
Stimme wird der Taste Ci zugeordnet.
Dieser Vorgang gilt für alle Sampling-
Methoden mit Ausnahme der Sampling-
Methode FROM VOICE BANK.

Echantillonnage du son
• Après avoir sélectionné le son à
échantillonner, ainsi que la méthode
d’échantillonnage, appuyer sur le
sélecteur SAMPLE (§). Le VSS-200 fait
retentir une tonalité “bip”, puis prélève
un échantillon du son choisi. Lorsque
l’échantillonnage est terminé, le VSS-
200 reproduit automatiquement le son, à
titre de confirmation, et l’indication “SP”
apparaît sur l’affichage à DEL, pendant 2
secondes environ. Pendant ce temps,
aucune voix ne retentit, même si les
touches sont enclenchées (il en va de
même pour les autres méthodes
d’échantillonnage).
• Si l’on appuie sur le sélecteur OVER
WRITE (^ lorsque l’échantillonnage est
terminé, on obtient un effet de sons
“superposés”, car on vient d’ajouter un
autre échantillon de la voix qui vient
d’être échantillonnée.
• Pour prélever un échantillon parmi les
voix du VSS-200, appuyer sur le
sélecteur FROM VOICE BANK (g) et
traîter les voix par le clavier. Lorsqu’on
appuie sur ce sélecteur, la voix
sélectionnée est automatiquement
échantillonnée, après qu’une tonalité
“bip” a retenti. Ensuite, la voix
échantillonnée retentit automatiquement
à titre de confirmation et l’indication
“SP” apparaît sur l’affichage à DEL.

Para muestrear un sonido

• Presione el selector OVERWRITE ®
después de haber maestreado un
sonido y obtendrá un efecto de
"sonido sobre sonido” añadiendo otra
muestra a la voz ya maestreada.
• Presione el selector FROM VOICE
BANK 0 para muestrear de las voces
preajustadas en el VSS-200 y el teclado
para poder procesar después tales
voces. Cuando presione este selector,
la voz seleccionada se muestreará
automáticamente después de un pitido.
A continuación la voz muestreada
sonará automáticamente par su
confirmación, y en el indicador de LED
aparecerá "SP”.
