command number will echo in the first word of the Local input table
and the command status will be found in the second data location in the
Local input table. If the Calibration succeeds the command status will
be equal to zero. It the command status is not equal to zero, it will
show the error code indicating why the command failed (see command
return error codes table).

Once the command is complete, remove the command number in the
output table. See Chapter 8, troubleshooting for help with error
correction.

Step 4 .

Set the Span Weight by placing certified weight on the scale. We
recommend the Cal High weight total 80 to 100% of the scale live load
capacity.

Step 5.

Move the Cal High command number to the first word in the Local

This step establishes the gross zero reference.

Rate Calibration

You have several choices for the rate calibration.

Five point rate cal defined:

Command number decimal 94. Send the command number to output table word

0, and rate percentage values in words 5 to 9.

Use five new rate cal percentage settings, greater than 0 and less than 100.

Set in ascending order with at least 10 percentage points between each.

Example would be 20, 30, 40, 50, 80.

The five output percentages each run for the amount of time set in the FEED

TIME parameter.

Each percentage rate gathers data establishes the rate calibration look up table

including a calculated low (no output percentage) and high (100 % output rate).

Two point rate cal defined:

Command number decimal 95. This is the same as the five point rate cal

however, instead of giving five output percentages.

Send the command number to output table word 0 and only two percentages in

words 5-6. These percentages will be accepted as the second and fourth and the
other five internal rates would be calculated.
