Connection of front speakers
On the speaker: Right Left
On the power amplifier:
Non-direction speaker ternninal
Front speaker terminal

The speaker terminals include the non direction speaker
terminals and front speaker terminals. The blue/black
cords are for use with the non direction speakers, and the
red / black cords are for use with the front speakers. Con­
nect the cords correctly as shown in the illustrations.
Never short-circuit the + and - speaker cords.
If the left and right speakers are connected inversely or
if the speaker cords are connected with reversed polar­
ity, the sound becomes unnatural with ambiguous
acoustic image positioning. Be sure to connect the
speakers and speaker cords correctly.
If you plan to connect commercially-available speakers,
be sure to use speakers having the following maximum
input power and impedance.
FRONT speaker:
4 £1 or more, 70 W or more
NON Dl RECTION speaker: 8 £2 or more, 45 W or more
Connection of surround (rear)
and center speakers (optional) Connection of super woofer
(optional)
• Be sure to connect both surround speakers. If only one
surround speaker is connected, surround cannot be heard.
■ Place the center speaker on the monitor TV, etc.
