Acoustic Sound
As described previously on page 23, the speakers provided with this system incorporate an omni-directional (non-
directional) speaker in the top section of each speaker cabinet. The sound from this non-directional speaker is added
to the directional sound of the conventional 3-way speaker system to create new types of sound fields. Using only
these speakers without the addition of any other speakers, you can enioy the three types of sound fields described
below.
Acoustic modes
NON DIRECTION 1
Sound is emitted only from the OMNI TOP speaker in the top of each speaker cabinet.
The OMNI TOP speaker adds specially the wide and deep acoustics to the sound in the entire room.
Set this mode when you want to listen to music in a casual, relaxed mood.
NON DIRECTION 2
This mode adds rich bass sound from the woofers of 3-way speakers to the NON DIRECTION 1 sound.
When you require more powerful sound than NON DIRECTION 1, select this mode.

BGM
The 3-way speaker system functions normally and the sound from the OMNI TOP speakers is reversed between the
left and right channels.
The stereo sound is heard from one speaker so that the stereo sound field is widened.
