2.3.2 Azerty Keyboards in Windows


Most countries use a keyboard where the first six letter keys across the top row are:

QWERTY


This is called a “Qwerty” keyboard. Some countries use an alternative, which is called an
“Azerty” keyboard, where the Q and W keys are swapped with the A and Z keys respectively.
If you have an Azerty keyboard, you need to make a change to the settings of the Shortcut file
created previously.

Single right click the shortcut icon and a menu will appear (as shown below) and select
properties from the menu.

A new window will appear (as shown below) te see the information shown below single left
click the “Program” tab. Change the text in the box titled “Cmd line:” so that it reads
“C:\HALTECH\E6X\E6X.EXE /a”. Click the OK button.
