Digital Output Channel Condition


The condition of a Digital Output Channel describes its On or Off state. By selecting
this field and using either of the cursor keys, the condition of the relay may be toggled
form ON to OFF or from OFF to ON.

IV.D.3.d.

Digital Output Channel Mode


Each relay may be operated in the LATCHED or MOMENTARY Mode. When operated
in the MOMENTARY mode, the relay will undergo a transition from OFF to ON, pausing
for a time period specified by the Delay field, and return to the OFF condition. This
mode selection may be programmed by selecting that field and toggling the value with
the SELECT key.

IV.D.3.e

Digital Output Channel Delay


The Delay is used when the relay if operated in the Momentary Mode. The Delay may
be from 0001 to 999 seconds in length. Enter the desired delay by selecting the field
and entering a valid three digit number. The delay is not valid when the mode is set to
LATCHED.


IV.D.3.f. EXIT


To leave the Digital Output Channel setup screen, cursor to the EXIT field and depress
SELECT.

IV.D.4.

Printer Output Card Programming


The MCS 500 Dialer will accept a printer output option card, which allows it to log all
dialer activities to a printer, along with the date and time of the printed events. The
Printer function may be enabled or disabled, and several alternate operations are
available. To configure and control the printer, access the Printer Card (after
configuring the system for a Printer Option card). Press HALT to return to the System
Status Screen. Next use the cursor control keys, NEXT and PREVIOUS, to highlight
the Printer Output Card and press the SELECT key.
