LOCAL SYSTEM OPERATION

After all system programming has been accomplished, data may be viewed for
verification or viewed during the course of normal system operation. Viewing each of
the card and channel detail screens is accomplished in the same manner which the
various values were accessed for programming.

Viewing System Screens

V.A.1.

System Status Screen

The System Status Screen, shown below, is the first screen viewed on the LCD panel
after power application or after the depression of the HALT key. If the system is
inadvertently left in another mode, it will still operate and receive calls placed to it.

The System Status Screen identifies and displays the channel status of every I/O card
plugged into the I/O Bus. Card slots not occupied are displayed as Spare locations.
The individual channels flash if they are currently registering an ALARM or ON
condition. Significant detail may be accessed regarding each channel by selecting more
detailed screens through the cursor key and SELECT/ENTER key system. For
additional information, see the System Screen Navigation Chart which may be found in
the appendix.

V.A.2.

Digital Input Card

Upon selection of a particular Digital Input Option Card, a more detailed view of that
card’s Digital Input channels will be available, as shown in the I/O Digital Input Card
display below. This screen, in turn, allows selection of even more detail on an individual
Digital Input channel.
