If your supercharger unit has not been clocked properly from the factory, use the picture above as

a guideline to locating the oil drain line and the blower discharge prior to mounting in car to ensure

proper alignment with remaining charge ducting. To properly clock blower discharge, simply loosen

the allen head cap bolts and remove holding straps. Rotate housing to desired location and reinstall

holding straps.

For internally lubricated SL units only: The supercharger has been pre-filled with special Paxton

synthetic lubricant. Oil does not need to be added to a brand-new unit, however, a fluid level check

should be performed prior to operating the supercharger on the vehicle and after installation on to

the vehicle. Remove the factory installed flat head brass shipping plug (not the dipstick) from the top

of the supercharger case. Replace the sealed shipping plug with the supplied vented plug. Do not

operate the supercharger without it. Check the supercharger fluid level with the dipstick as follows.

#1 - Ensure that the .06 in. cooper sealing washer is located on the dipstick base.

#2 - Thread the clean dipstick into the unit until it seats.

#3 - Once the dipstick has seated, remove the dipstick from the unit. Fluid should register in the

crosshatched area on the dipstick.

#4 - DO NOT OVERFILL! Drain excess fluid from the unit if it is above the maximum level on the

dipstick.
