INTEGRATION OF COMPUTER SMART IN SCADA POWER STUDIO

Computer Smart systems have an RS-485 communications channel, so that they can be integrated as an
additional peripheral in CIRCUTOR's SCADA “Power Studio” software.
They can be connected either directly through an RS-485 bus or integrated into an Ethernet network with an
RS-485 to Ethernet/Modbus converter (CIRCUTOR TCP2RS-TCP or similar).
The communication features are defined on the Communications setup screen (section 5.5). The peripheral
number (unit identification number in the Power Studio Scada network), transmission speed and features of
the communications frame sent (parity, stop bits, etc.) are defined on this screen.
For more details about the SCADA software, check the Power Studio software manual.

MAINTENANCE

The Computer Smart 6 or Computer Smart 12 regulator does not require a special type of maintenance.
Try to avoid any form of adjustment, maintenance or repairs while the unit is open. If this cannot be avoided,
only qualified and trained staff must carry out these operations.

Disconnect the unit from all power supplies before performing any connection modifications, relocation,
maintenance or repair operations. If you suspect any operational faults in the unit or in its protection system,
remove the device from service and make sure that it cannot be accidentally reconnected. The design of the
device makes it easy to replace in the event of a fault.
