Sorensen SLH-Series DC High Power Electronic Load
Introduction
CR Mode:
In Constant Resistance mode, the load will sink a current linearly proportional to the load
input voltage in accordance with the programmed resistance setting (see Figure 1-8).
Figure 1-8 Constant Resistance (CR) Mode
CV Mode:
In Constant Voltage mode, the load will attempt to sink enough current until the load
input voltage is equal to the programmed voltage setting (see Figure 1-9).

Dynamic Waveform Definition
There are six parameters to generate dynamic wave form or pulse wave form: High/Low
load levels, Rise/Fall slew rates, and T
HIGH
/T
LOW
durations. The SLH-series Electronic
Load will sink current from the power source proportional to the dynamic waveform. The
dynamic waveform definition is shown in Figure 1-10. The period of dynamic wave form
is, dynamic frequency = 1 /(T
HIGH
+ T
LOW
), the Duty cycle = T
HIGH
/ (T
HIGH
+ T
LOW
)
The formula to define the period of dynamic waveform (T
HIGH
+ T
LOW)
