Installing the firewall

Confirming installation preparations
Before you install the firewall, verify that:
• You have read " Preparing for installation " carefully and the installation site meets all the
requirements.
• A 19-inch rack is ready for use.
• The rack is sturdy and securely grounded.
• There is sufficient clearance around the rack for heat dissipation and installation.
• No debris exists inside or around the rack.
• Choose a correct rack mounting position for the firewall. Make sure the heaviest device is placed
at the bottom of the rack.
