The Assignment List Manager
Editors use the Assignment List Manager to receive assignments from the
producer, to create additional placeholders for clips, to reassign placeholders to
other editors, and to send completed clips to a Profile Video Server.
The Assignment List Manager runs on the NewsEdit workstation and integrates
with NewsEdit — the NewsEdit toolbar displays part of the Assignment List
Manager so editors can see at a glance how many stories need video. Opening
the Assignment List Manager provides more detail on specific stories.
