Setting Options Description
Enable 16-Port GPI

Check this checkbox to use GPI inputs to control the
NewsQ Pro software.
GPI Input 1 through 16 Select the GPI input you are configuring.
Channel None
Channel 1 label
Channel 2 label
Channel 3 label
Channel 4 label
Not Channel Specific Select the channel you are using for the GPI input.
GPI Function:
First
Second
Third
Select the function for each GPI input. Each input usually has only one function,
though each GPI perform up to three functions.
None The GPI doesn’t perform a function.
Play/Stop Plays or stops the playing clip.
Recue Recues the current clip.
Cue Previous Cues the previous clip in the playlist.
Cue Next Cues the next clip in the playlist.
On-Air Only used with the First GPI function.
Sets the system to monitor an on-air signal. When
NewsQ Pro detects a signal, it automatically
changes the channel window to red, indicating that
channel is now playing to air. When the clip ends, it
goes into post-roll for the designated time, then
freezes on the last frame until the signal ends.
