Deleting Clips From the Profile Video Server Only
Sometimes, an editor may need to update a clip after it has been sent to the
Profile Video Server for playback. To reassign the placeholder to the news
editor, you need to delete the clip from the Profile Video Server without
deleting it from the NewsQ Pro database.
To remove a clip only from the Profile Video Server:
1. Right-click on the clip you want to remove.
2. Choose Delete from Profiles .
The clip is removed from the Profile Video Server and reassigned to the news
editor.
Importing Clips
With the Housekeeper utility, you can import clips from Profile Video Servers
You assign these clips to a NewsQ Pro placeholder for use in your broadcast.
Importing Clips from a Profile Video Server
Importing clips from a Profile Video Server provides you a greater selection of
video footage from which to choose. Imported are copied into your database.
To import a clip:
1. Select the Profile server and the Group you want to import from.
