Opening the SDB Server Utility
To check the status of ENPS rundowns, you need to start the SDB Server Utility:
• Double-click
SDB Server
on the desktop or open click the
Start
menu and
choose
Programs | NewsQ Pro | SDB Server
.
Adding Rundowns
Before using the SDB Server Utility to monitor rundown status, you need to add
all of your ENPS rundowns on each computer hosting a NewsQ Pro database.
To add rundowns to the SDB Server:
1. Select
Tools | Options
.
The Options window appears:
2. Enter the rundown name in the Rundown Profile Map section.
You must enter the name of the rundown exactly as it is used in ENPS, with
no spaces. The name is case-sensitive.
3. Select the Main and Backup Profiles from the drop-down lists.
4. Click
Add
.
The information appears in the Rundown section of the window.
5. Continue to add rundowns and then click
OK
.
Repeat this procedure on the backup SDB server you use with NewsQ Pro.
