The list of assignments shows each clip placeholder and its properties:
Receiving Editing Assignments
Assignments show up automatically in your Assignment List Manager when
sent from the producer or when assigned from another editor.
The assignments are created by the producer as placeholders for clips to use in
an upcoming news broadcast. You create clips in NewsEdit and link them to the
placeholders in the Assignment List Manager.
Column Description
Clip Name Displays the name of the clip created by the producer.
Type Displays the type of clip you need to create, either Voice Over (VO) or Sound
on Tape (SOT).
Duration Displays the length of the clip.
Category Displays the category assigned by the producer; determines which editors
receive the placeholder for an assignment.
Description Displays a description of the clip you need to create.
Clip ID Displays the clip ID, set automatically when the placeholder was created.
Date Displays the date the placeholder was created.
