Creating New Placeholders

2. Select the clip you want to import.
You can see a video thumbnail (the first frame of the clip) in the first column
of the clips on the Profile Video Server. If you see
READY instead of a video
thumbnail, double-click the clip to open an information window.
If the clip is incomplete and not ready for air, a red border appears around
the thumbnail area.
3. Click Associate Profile Clip with Placeholder .
You can also drag clips from the Profile list to the NewsQ Pro placeholder list.
The Profile clip is now linked to the NewsQ Pro placeholder.
Creating New Placeholders
You may need to create additional placeholders for clips you are importing.
New placeholders are created in the NewsQ Pro clip database.
To create a new placeholder:
1. Click New Placeholder .
You can also select File | New Placeholder or press Ctrl + N on the
keyboard. The New Clip Entry window appears:
