Creating a Playlist
Before you can play clips to air, you first need to create a playlist. There are two
ways to create a playlist — by linking to an ENPS rundown or by manually
creating a playlist in NewsQ Pro.
Linking to an ENPS Rundown
If your newsroom is using a newsroom computer system, such as ENPS, to
create news rundowns, you can link to the ENPS rundown and create the
playlist automatically.
To open an ENPS rundown:
• Select your rundown from the drop-down list and click Open Rundown .
The rundown opens in the NewsQ Pro application, showing all of the clips
in the rundown, and cues the clips to the channels specified in the automatic
channel assignment. The playlist displays a headframe for each clip, which
provides a visual reference to the clip. A red border appears around clips that
are not yet ready for playback.
