Sending Completed Clips
Once you create a clip or sequence on NewsEdit for a specific placeholder, you
need to send it back to a Profile Video Server so it can be used. Your NewsEdit
workstation must be configured with the Profile Video Server and its default
directory as the default Send Destination. See your NewsEdit documentation
for more information.
To send a clip to a Profile Video Server:
1. select the completed sequence in the NewsEdit Bin.
If you have the completed sequence open in NewsEdit, it is already selected.
2. Press F2 on your keyboard.
The Send To Selected Destinations window appears showing the list of open
NewsQ Pro placeholders.
NOTE: If the list
of placeholders is
grayed out, it means
that you haven’t
selected that send
location as a News Q Pro
send destination.
