Transport, hoisting, towing
Instructions for transport
- Drive the vehicle on the hauling vehicle.
- Shut down the vehicle as described in section “Leav-
ing the Vehicle“.
- Secure the vehicle against rolling with chocks at the
wheels and, if needed, with wood blocks at the sides
to prevent it from sliding.
- Tie the vehicle down at the front to the upper link
support (1), at the rear to the trailer hitch (2).
Hoisting instructions
DANGER
When hoisting the vehicle, only use lifting
equipment and a crane with a sufficient load
capacity.
- The hoisting weight must not exceed the permissible
total weight:
The hoisting weight is given on the vehicle identification plate
and in the tables of weights in the technical data.
- Hoist the vehicle only with the lifting equipment
attached to all 4 wheels.
DANGER
Do not step or stand under a suspended load.
