Hardware Setup

The V7865 is factory populated with user-specified options as part of the V7865
ordering information. For option upgrades or for any type of repairs, contact
customer care to receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) at

The V7865 is tested for system operation and shipped with factory-installed header
jumpers. The physical locations of the jumpers and connectors for the SBC with the
PMC option are illustrated in Figure 1-1 on page 28. The definitions of the connectors,
headers and switches are included in Table 1-1 on page 29.

CAUTION:

All jumpers marked User Configured in the following tables may be

changed or modified by the user. All jumpers marked Factory Configured should not be
modified by the user.

Care must be taken when making jumper modifications to ensure against improper
settings or connections. Improper settings may result in damage to the unit.

Modifying any jumper not marked User Configured will void the Warranty and may
damage the unit.
