Recording Camera Images
1. Press the [MENU] button.
• Opens the menus in accordance with the instructions
provided in MENU Screen Operations (page 17) in the
sequence of [MENU]
→ [RECORD SETUP] → [DATE
TIMER].
2. Set the starting time.
3. Set the ending time.
4. Select the “MODE” (REC PATTERN mode).
5. Select “EXEC”.
6. Select the day of recording.
[ S/T/W/X]: Selecting an item.
[–/+]: Changing the value settings.
Settings
00:00 to 23:59: Sets the time at which recording is to start.
00:00 to 23:59: Sets the time at which recording is to end.
STANDARD, REC. P1 to REC. P9:
Selects the appropriate setting from among multiple
recording settings. (See REC PATTERN SET on
page 31)
OFF: Timer not executed.
ON: Executes the timer every year.
JAN 1 to DEC 31: Sets the date of recording.
7. Press the [SET] button.
• A confirmation screen will be displayed.
8. Select [SAVE] with [
W/X], and then press the [SET]
button.
* If an incorrect parameter is set, a message will be
displayed on screen and it will be impossible to move the
cursor up or down or escape from the screen.
In this event, either press the [CANCEL] button and reset
the parameter, or re-enter the correct parameter.
1. Set the [TIMER/MODE (REC PATTERN) setting on the
[RECORD SETUP] screen to “PROGRAM TIMER”. (See
page 30)
2. Press the [TIMER/MODE] button on the front panel to
illuminate the TIMER/MODE indicator.
• The system will enter the timer standby mode.
• Performs recording with the setting specified for
WEEKLY TIMER or DATE TIMER.
„ The following operations are not possible when in the timer
standby mode:
• Operations OFF.
• Operations OFF with the signal I/O terminals.
• Recording with the [REC/STOP] button or the [EXT REC
IN] terminal.
• Timer program amendments.
If the above operations are required, press the [TIMER/
MODE] button to cancel the timer standby mode (the
TIMER/MODE indicator will be extinguished).

Activating the Timer Recording Mode
When the WEEKLY TIMER or DATE TIMER are in use,
stop recording temporarily and then activate the timer
standby mode.
The STOP mode cannot be activated when moving from
the recording status into the timer standby mode directly.
There are cases where recording is continued, depending
on the [REC PATTERN SET] settings.
