As can be seen in the illustrations below, the VR-509’s DATE/
TIME and camera title can be displayed on the monitor screen.
It is also possible to change their position on the screen.
„ Set the display mode to live images on a single screen.
* The DATE/TIME display can be set for both the single
screen and the SPLIT screen.
* The location for displaying the camera title is only
possible when single-screen live images are being
displayed.
* It is possible to change the display position for each
camera. Amend the positions for all cameras if
necessary.
1. Press and hold the [FUNCTION] button and then press
the [MENU] button.
• The on-screen display position adjustment mode will be
activated.
• The “Date/time” areas will be highlighted against a blue
background.
2. Press [ S/T/W/X].
• The “Date/time” areas will all move together.
• Do not move this sub-screen over the Message Display
Area.
Warnings and other messages will be overlaid and
difficult to read.
3. Selects the camera for the live display.
Press the [1] to [9] button while pressing down on the
[FUNCTION] button.
• The live images for the selected camera will be
displayed.
• The “Title” area will be highlighted against a blue
background, and the display position adjustment mode
will be activated.
4. Press [ S/T/W/X].
• Move the “Title” position to any preferred location.
• Do not move this sub-screen over the Message Display
Area.
Warnings and other messages will be overlaid and
difficult to read.
* Press the [CANCEL] button to return it to its original
location.
5. Press the [MENU] button or [RETURN] button to
display DATE/TIME position.
6. Press the [MENU] button or [RETURN] button in the
state of “DATE/TIME” display position.
• The on-screen display position will be set in the system
and the screen will return to the normal display.

Camera Title
The size of the characters on the camera title for “QUAD”
screen displays are the same as for single-screen displays.
The display positions are also relative to the single-screen
displays.
