5-3-2 Checking the program

The contents of the existing program can be checked or
modified.

Press the CHECK button during stop or playback.

÷ Each time the CHECK button is pressed, the

program No. and the disc No. are displayed.

÷ Press each button within 20 seconds after pressing

the previous button.

5-3-3 To change a track in the program

Operation procedure

(Enter stop mode before proceeding.)

1.

Press the CHECK button repeatedly until the pro-

gram No, to be changed is displayed.

2.

Perform steps 2 and 7 of “Registering and playing
the program

5-3-4 Clearing the program

One or all tracks in the existing program can be cleared.

To clear a track from the program list :

Press the CLEAR button.

÷ Each time the CLEAR button is pressed, the last

track in the program is cleared.

To exit the PGM :

(Enter stop mode before proceeding.)

Press the PGM button.

÷ The unit enters normal play mode (Track mode).

5-4 Random playback

Disc Random Playback

Tracks in a desired disc can be played back in a random
order. (Disc random playback is not available with DVD
VIDEO, MP3 file.)

All Disc Random Playback

Tracks in all discs in the stocker can be played in a random
order. (All random playback is not available with DVD
VIDEO, MP3 file.)

÷ Set the player to stop mode
÷ If All Disc Random Playback is required, begin the

procedure from step 3.

Operation procedure

1.

Check that the player is in the normal play (TRACK

mode).

The disc number can also be selected using the DISC
SEL.
and numeric buttons on the remote.
÷ The disc number can also be selected using the

DISC + (up)/ (down) button on the remote.

÷ The disc number can also be selected by rotating

the DISC knob on the front panel.

÷ The discs in the PLUS1 to PLUS3 slots cannot be

played with random playback.

Press the SET button.

Press the RANDOM button to select “ONE RANDOM”.

If All Disc Random Playback for playing tracks
in all discs in a random order is required :

Press the RANDOM button to select “ALL RANDOM”.

÷ When the player enters the random mode, the

"RANDOM" indicator in the display lights to
indicate that the player is in the disc random mode.

÷ With “ALL RANDOM” playback, the discs that

cannot be played in a random order, such as the
DVD-VIDEO discs and discs containing MP3 files,
are skipped and the next disc will be played.

5-4-1 Stopping random playback

Press the

7 button.

÷ The "RANDOM" indicator turns off.
