the default language set by the user, the priority
language specified for the disc will be selected.

Remote control with the standard remote is impossible.
÷ The batteries are exhausted.
÷ The controller position is too apart from the remote
sensor, the control angle is deviated or there is an
obstacle between the remote and remote sensor.

An inhibition icon is displayed and no operation is
accepted.
÷ The operations of certain DVDs and VCDs are
restricted by the intention of the software producers.
Such discs should be operated in accordance with the
software. Operations may also be restricted depending
on the player status.
DVD playback cannot be stopped by pressing the
STOP button.
÷ With certain DVDs, the inhibition icon is displayed
and playback cannot be stopped even when the 7
button is pressed. In this case, press the DISC + (up),
– (down) button to select another disc then press the
7 button to stop playback.
If there is only one disc in the carousel, open the disc
door, place another disc, close the disc door, press the
DISC + (up), – (down) button to select the second
disc, then press the
7 button to stop playback.
The player display shows nothing.
÷ The player display is set to "FL OFF". £
The display shows "LOCKED" and no operation is
accepted.
÷ Initializing H
The COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT jacks of the
player do not output video signals.
÷ When "RGB" is set in the "SCART Output Select"
setting, the COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT terminals
of the player do not output video signals.
A MP3 disc cannot be played back.
÷ Certain MP3 discs are unplayable on this player.
An erroneous character is displayed in the title
display.
÷ The displayed characters may become erroneous if the
disc has been created on a PC, etc.
