Chapter 6 : Specifying and Using Disc or Track Data

Operation procedure
1. Press the MODE button.
÷ When the MODE button is pressed during MUSIC
TYPE SEARCH mode, the MUSIC TYPE SEARCH
mode is cancelled.
2. Press the DISC + (up), – (down) button to select
“DISC SEARCH”, then press the SET button.
3. Press the DISC + (up), – (down) button to select “MU-
SIC TYPE”, then press the SET button.
4. Press the DISC + (up), – (down) button to select the
music type to be searched.
÷ Discs can be registered separately by 26 types of
music genres.
Adult Contemporary, Alternative Rock,
Children’sMusic, Classical, Contemporary
Christian, Country, Dance, Easy Listening, Folk,
Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin, Musical, New
Age, Opera, Operetta, Pop Music, Rap, Reggae,
Rock Music, Rhythm & Blues, Sound Effects,
Sound Track, Spoken Word, World Music
÷ The registered music types are displayed.
To search the next disc
Press the DISC + (up), – (down) button.
To play the searched disc
Press the SET button or the
3 button.
To eject the searched disc
Press the
0 EJECT button.
b : Searching the music type
(MUSIC TYPE SEARCH mode)
The discs registered in the specified music type can be
searched in sequence.
÷ Check that the unit is in the normal play TRACK
mode. ¤
÷ Register music type. Y
5. Press the SET button.
÷ If there is no disc registered in the specified music
type, “NO ENTRY” will be displayed.
÷ When daisy chain connection is set, the set changer
units can be switched using the MAIN, SUB 1 and
SUB 2 buttons.
6. Select one of the following operations for the search
target disc.
To search the next disc
Press the DISC + (up), – (down) button.
To play the searched disc
Press the SET button or the
3 button.
To eject the searched disc
Press the
0 EJECT button.
Disc search can be activated using the buttons on
the main unit.

Operation procedure
1. Set the player to stop mode.
2. Press the MUSIC TYPE button.
3. Turn the DISC knob to select the “music type”
to be searched.
4. Press the SET button.
