Press the cursor left/right button to select “Disc” or
Artist”.

Disc
Disc search by the initial letters of disc title names.
Artist
Disc search by the artist names.

Press the cursor button to move the cursor on the
OSD screen to the “Keyboard” area, then move the
cursor on the desired character and press the ENTER
button.

” + ENTER ........ The search mode is started.

÷ If you are operating the main unit, press the

RETURN button.

Delete” + ENTER ..... Delete a character.

÷ If you a operating the remote, select the initial letter

with a character input button and press the ENTER
button.

÷ Each press of the CHARAC. button switches the

“character input” and “numeric input” alternately.

Press the cursor button to select “Exit”, then press
the ENTER button.

Press the cursor up, down button to select the de-
sired disc and press the ENTER button.

¶ When daisy chain connection is set, the set changer

units can be switched using the MAIN, SUB 1 and
SUB 2 buttons.

Press the cursor up, down button to select the opera-
tion to be performed for the search target disc and
press the ENTER button.

3” ............. Play the searched disc.

0” ............. Eject the searched disc.

÷ The initial letters of disc titles or artist name are searched

insensitively to the uppercase and lowercase.

÷ Lowercase characters cannot be input in the

CHARACTER SEARCH mode.

b : Searching the music type

(MUSIC TYPE SEARCH mode)

The discs registered in the specified music type can be
searched in sequence.

÷ Check that the unit is in the normal play TRACK

mode.

÷ Register music type.

Operation procedure

(Enter stop mode before proceeding.)

1.

Press the LIBRARY button.

÷ When the LIBRARY button is pressed during

MUSIC TYPE SEARCH mode, the MUSIC TYPE
SEARCH mode is cancelled.

2.

Press the cursor up, down button to select “Music
Type Search
”, then press the ENTER button.

“All” ....... This allows you to view all of the discs

registered in all of the "Music Type"
registered in this unit.

÷ While a “Disc search” screen is displayed, pressing

the cursor button toward "EXIT" allows the this
mode to be canceled and pressing it toward
"MENU" returns to the "MENU".
