Bypass
unsynchronized

Bypass voltage or frequency is out
of normal range and inverter output
is not synchronized with the bypass
output.

Check the bypass voltage and frequency

Bypass ratings exceed
the normal range

Bypass voltage or frequency
exceeds the normal range and the
bypass will not power the load
anymore.

Check the bypass voltage and frequency

Bypass SCR fails

Bypass SCR is damaged

Notify the service dept for repairing

Bypass over current
timeout

If the over current time exceeds the
limit, the UPS may shut down the
bypass and the inverter.

Check the load, if it is normal, then restart
the UPS

Shutdown due to
bypass fault

When the overload delay time is due
in inverter mode, if at this time the
bypass has fault, then the inverter is
shutdown.

Repair the bypass and reduce the load,
and then restart the UPS. Note: Don’t let
the UPS in over load state for a long time.

Battery needs to be
replaced

The battery life is reduced due to
aging, which may endanger the
normal operation of UPS. Warn the
user that the battery is abnormal and
needs to be replaced.

Notify the service dept for replacing the
battery and set the battery model and
parameters through software.

No battery

Batteries are not connected.

Check the battery and the wiring of
batteries

Pre-alarm for end of
battery discharging

The battery discharges to pre-alarm
point (the battery capacity is
inadequate), the system may shut
down after a few minutes

Shut down the load in time

Check the battery temperature and
ventilation

Battery contactor is
abnormal

Battery contactor fails

Notify the service dept for repairing

The battery condition for self-test is

Notify the UPS service engineer to
connect the battery again

Notify the UPS service engineer to
change the bypass phase rotation

28 Rectifier

fails

Rectifier is abnormal and has
serious fault

Notify the service dept for repairing

Rectifier heatsink over
temperature

Rectifier heatsink temperature is too
high

The UPS can recover automatically.
Check the environment and ventilation
