Reducing and Enlarging Using Preset
Ratios

Use this function to have originals re-
duced or enlarged by a preset ratio. A
total of 7 ratios are available (3 en-
largement ratios, 4 reduction ratios).

Note

❒ The leading edge of the print im-

age does not shift when a print im-
age is made with this function.

1. Place on the exposure glass
2. Place in the optional document

feeder

❒ You can select a ratio regardless of

the size of an original or printing
paper. With some ratios, parts of
the image might not be printed or
margins will appear on prints.

❒ You can change the preset repro-

duction ratios with the user tools.
