Switching the Power Saving timer On /
Off (Function 62)
The Power Saving timer feature must
be switched on using Function 62.

Press
{Function} {6} and enter the
access code

{6} {2}, and then the {Yes} key.

Switching Memory Lock On/Off
Preparation
Before you can use Memory Lock, you
have to switch it on using Function 62.
After you switch Memory Lock on,
MEMORY LOCK will appear on the display
when the machine is in standby mode.
Note
❒ If you switch Memory Lock on, For-
warding will be automatically disabled.
❒ If you wish, you can prevent unidenti-
fied senders from sending you mes-
sages while Memory Lock is on. See
P.70 “Receiving Confidential Messag-
es”
.
