Chapter 9 Various Other Settings

Turning Initial Touch On/Off

Initial Touch is a function that translates the force used in
playing the keys into a directly proportional amount of
volume. It can be switched ON/OFF independently for the
Upper and Lower keyboards.

1.

Touch <Sound/Kbd> on the Main screen.

The sub-window appears.

2.

In the sub-window, touch either <Upper Kbd>, or
<Lower Kbd>.

Touch <

> to display the Initial Touch.

4.

Touch the displayed Initial Touch setting (ON,
OFF) to switch it ON/OFF.

Each time you touch the value, it will alternately turn
ON/OFF.

5.

Touch <Exit>.

Changing the Pedalboard
Polyphony

You can set the Bass Pedalboard to play simultaneous
multiple notes or single notes only.

1.

Touch <Sound/Kbd> on the Main screen.

The sub-window appears.

2.

In the sub-window, touch <Pedalboard>.

The Pedalboard screen appears.

3.

Touch <

><

> to display the PedalBass

Mode.

4.

Touch the PedalBass Mode setting to switch
between “MONOPHONIC” and
“POLYPHONIC.”

Each time you touch the PedalBass Mode setting, it will
alternate between “MONOPHONIC” and
“POLYPHONIC.”

5.

Touch <Exit>.

Upper Kbd

To change the initial touch setting of
the Upper part

Lower Kbd

To change the initial touch setting of
the Lower part

OFF

Volume remains constant regardless of
how hard you play.
