Pots to be used with the CookSmart

must have a surface that radiates heat

especially well to the sensor.

You can use enamelware pots. The base of the cookpot must be large enough to

completely cover the heating element.

Stainless steel and aluminum pots can also be used when fitted with the sensor

bands that are included with your unit. To use them, attach the sensor band to the

pot by means of the adhesive backing.

Make certain that the sensor band is always facing the sensor. If the band is not

facing the sensor, the controller will not work properly and foods can boil over.

The control system will not operate properly if unsuitable pots are used. Foods can

boil over or burn.

The point at which water begins to boil in your kitchen will depend on your elevation

above sea level. If your dish is boiling too fast or too slowly, you can adjust the

boiling point within the 195Ć215 ºF (90Ć100 ºC) temperature range:
