4. Touch the desired temperature range in the setting area.

CookSmart

is activated.

The temperature range that you selected will appear in the display along with a dot,

which will continue to be lit until the proper temperature has been reached. An

audible signal will be issued, and the dot will disappear. CookSmart

keeps the

temperature of the pot within the temperature range that you set.

Set the desired temperature range in the setting area or using + and -.

Retract the Sensor Dome

for the heating element, or set to 0 in the setting range.

The heating element will turn off after about 10 seconds. The residual heat indicator

will appear.

You can also put food in hot liquids. Fill the pot with liquid only. Adjust settings as

described in 3 and 4 above. When the desired temperature is reached and an

audible signal sounds, place the food in the liquid.
