Fan Blade Removal and Installation

Gently wedge the fan blade to reduce the risk of free wheeling and injury.

Damaged blades must be replaced and re-balanced by a specialist.

NOTE: Bushing and blade must be re-assembled in the same alignment to preserve fan balance. Observe

factory alignment marks or if required mark the alignment of blade and bushing.

2. Remove the fan guard and inlet.

3. Remove the screws in the taper-lock bushing.

4. Install two (2) of the screws into the threaded holes in the bushing.

NOTE: The threaded holes are for disassembly purposes only.

5. Turn the screws 1/4 turn at a time until the blade breaks loose.

6. Remove bushing and blade.

7. Refit is reverse of installation, ensuring the screws are inserted into the untapped holes in

the bushing.

Fan Motor Removal and Installation

Warranty motor repairs/replacement can only be carried out by an authorized service agent.

2. Remove the belt guard from the fan housing.

3. Disconnect and mark the motor connections inside the fan/heater control box.

4. Mark the motor location on it is mount.

5. Remove motor mount bolts and disengage motor sheave from belt. Assistance to hold and remove

motor is likely required.

6. Remove motor with the conduit still attached.

7. To re-install motor, slide onto motor base plate with belt in place of sheave.

8. Loosely refit mounting bolts.

9. Re-install wires and reconnect.

10. Adjust position of motor to marks on mounting plate and tighten mounting bolts.

11. Replace belt guard.

The following points must be read carefully and fully understood. Improper
installation can cause a loose blade, and result in serious injury or death.

Lock out power.
