4. Assembly

Mounting Bearing to Bearing Plate (Continued)

Installing Bearing Plate onto Tube

1. Align bearing with drive shaft and slip shaft through bearing.

2. Rotate plate until bolt holes in tube flange and plate align. Secure with appropriate bolts and

serrated flange nuts.

(See Chart below.)

3. Only secure with UPPER and LOWER four (4) bolts.

(See Figure 4C.)

The other four (4) bolts will

be installed later with the belt guard mounting brackets.

(See Chart below.)

NOTE: On the 10" and 12" systems use the four (4) 3/8"-16 x 1" bolts in this step, the longer bolts

will be used to attach the belt guard mounting brackets in a future step.
