MIDI PANIC FUNC. (MIDI Panic Function)
The MIDI Panic Function selects whether or not to issue a MIDI ‘All Notes
Off ’ message when the MASTER switch is pressed. To change the setting,
use the CURSOR to highlight the desired choice and press ENTER.
MIDI EXT. GATE (MIDI External Gate)
The MIDI External Gate menu allows you assign MIDI functions to a
footswitch plugged into the ENV GATE jack. The menu allows you to
assign a MIDI control number (MIDI CNTL No.), set the function polarity
(POLARITY), the toggle status (TOGGLE), and the gate mode (MODE).
The assignable options for these parameters are listed below
MIDI CNTL NO: The MIDI Continuous Controller number that is output
when the footswitch is engaged. Assignable controller numbers are 1-127.
POLARITY: This sets the polarity of the MIDI footswitch function. When set
to NORMAL, a value of 127 is transmitted when the footswitch is pressed,
and a value of 0 when the footswitch is released. When set to INVERSE, the
values are reversed.
TOGGLE: When set to ON, the footswitch function responds like a toggle
switch (press once = ON, press again = OFF). When set to OFF, the
footswitch function responds like momentary switch (press = ON,
release = OFF)
MODE: Determines the condition when this function is active:
ALWAYS ON: The function is always active
ALWAYS OFF: The function is not active
ENV-SW ON: The function is active when the Voyager XL
ENV GATE switch is set to ‘ON/EXTERNAL’
ENV-SW OFF: The function is active when the Voyager XL
ENV GATE switch is set to ‘KEYBOARD’
STORAGE MODE
The Storage Mode function sets the behavior after a preset is stored. If
YES is chosen, then the preset is stored to the new location and the
interface goes to that new location. If NO is chosen, then the current
location is maintained after the preset is stored. To change the setting, use
the CURSOR to highlight the desired choice and press ENTER.
