4.4.3 Input/Output connections

1.

Analog output – Iout 0

is used for the current signals of the measurement. Other analog

outputs can be freely linked to different parameters like measurement, temperature – refer
to the section entitled

User Setup on page 71

for details.

2.

Relays – Rel 8

is linked to the system alarm and is normally energized. Rel 7 is linked to

the warning alarm. The position of the contact represented on the diagram above
corresponds to a state when the relay is not energized. See

Alarms on page 76

for more

information on the relays.

3.

Logical Inputs (2) –

one input allows the analyzer to be put on standby by providing 1 dry

circuit which will then be closed to place the analyzer on standby until that circuit is
re-opened. The second input is to launch the remote calibration (same principle as sample
measurement by-pass).

- In 2 (on J32) for remote calibration

- In 7 (on J38) to put the analyzer on standby
