Lamp replacement
Scale & Units
Scale: In the automatic Scaling mode, the y-axis is
automatically adjusted so that the total scan is displayed.
The manual Scaling mode allows sections of the scan to be
displayed.
Units: Choice of absorbance or transmittance.
Send Data
To send Data to a printer, computer or USB memory stick
(Type A)
Reading Mode
Single Reading: One measurement result is shown after
tapping on Read.
Carousel 1 inch square: Optional measurement of carousel
insert with up to 5 square cells.
Carousel 1 cm square: Optional measurement of carousel
insert with up to 7 square cells.

Disconnect the instrument from the power source before the lamp replacement
procedure is commenced and until the lamp replacement procedure is complete.
C A U T I O N
Burn hazard.
Wait until the lamp cools down. Contact with the hot lamp can cause burns.
N O T I C E
Only hold lamp at lamp holder. Avoid touching the glass, as substances on the
skin can bake onto the lamp bulb and thus accelerate the ageing process of the
lamp.
