12.4 Connecting the wire
Galvanically bound wire
The diameter of this wire does not change as
the result of wear.
For this reason when connecting wires with
varying degrees of wear, it is not necessary to
pay attention to the diameter.
Sintered wire
Varying diameters can occur as the result of
wear as the diameter changes.
For this reason attention must be paid to the
diameter when connecting wires with a varying
degree of wear.
