13 Inserting the wire, storing the wire
13.1 Insert the wire
l Move the support with twin power unit to the
lowest position so that the wire can be
inserted
l Pay attention to the running direction of the
wire (X) - this is always marked with an
arrow on the wire. (see page 36)
l Insert the wire in the running direction on
the right-hand swivel roll (1)
l Then place onto the rear pulley of the
deflection pulley unit (2)
l Place around the other pulleys as shown in
the illustration (3-6)
l Carefully tension the wire with feed feature
(see page 51)
The wire can be inserted either open or
already pressed, i.e. closed.
If the arrow is no longer visible on worn
wires, the small diameter of the conically
worn beads must be pointed forwards.
Never change the running direction, as this
would result in a higher degree of wear.
