6.2. REMOTE SERVICE AND DIAGNOSTICS
The FB3000 can be serviced and have diagnostics performed from a remote location,
such as the nearest authorized Fairbanks Service Center.
•
The instrument must be connected to a network with internet access.
•
The
Remote VNC Connection
can be programmed to display in the Weight
Window or in the minimized tray.
6.2.1. Opening the VNC Connection
1. To open the remote connection, left-click on the
Fairbanks Globe
.
2. Click the
Menu
key.
3. Give the Remote Fairbanks
Technician the
IP address
listed within the Remote
Diagnostic Mode Window.
4. Upon completion of diagnostics,
the Remote Fairbanks
Technician will disconnect at his
or her end.
5. Disconnect the
Remote VNC Connection
by clicking the box.

This returns the Kernel Program back to normal operations.
