4 GETTING STARTED
4.1 Connect your Gentec-EO device to the PC-Gentec-EO.
1. Connect your Gentec-EO device to the PC using a USB cable.
2. Install the PC-Gentec-EO on the PC.
3. If necessary, power up the Gentec-EO device
4. Start the PC-Gentec-EO
5. Click on the
“Connect” button in the Main Controls ribbon. The software will scan each port on
your computer and connect the PC-Gentec-EO to the first port connected to a Gentec-EO device.
4.2 To disconnect your Gentec-EO device
Click on the “Disconnect” button in the main controls ribbon.
4.3 To change the measurement settings of your detector head
To change the behavior of the detector head plugged into the Gentec-EO device, go to the “Set Measure”
tab panel.
