clinical modes of operation, and nonclinical functions.

AED Pro Simulator Operator’s Guide (9651-0801-01) — Describes the AED Pro simulator,
which you can use to test the AED Pro unit’s response to various simulated cardiac rhythms.

Conventions

This manual uses uppercase italics for messages that are voiced or displayed on the screen (for
example, DON’T TOUCH PATIENT, ANALYZING).

Within text, the names and labels for physical buttons and softkeys appear in boldface type (for
example, “Press the Shock button or the DISARM softkey.”)

WARNING! Warning statements alert you to conditions or actions that can result in personal injury

or death.

Caution statements alert you to conditions or actions that can result in damage to the unit.
