To review aging rules for a smart caching policy:
1. Select Configuration tab from the main menu.
2. Select the Services tab from the Configuration menu.
The upper, left-hand, side of the user interface displays a Services menu pane where
Captive Portal, DHCP Server Policy, RADIUS and Smart Caching configuration options can
be selected.
3. Select Smart Caching.
4. Select Add to create a new policy or Edit to modify an existing policy.
5. Select the Aging Rules tab.

Refer to the following Aging Rules to determine whether an aging rule configuration requires
creation or modification:
Precedence
Displays the order (from 1 -100) aging rules are applied. Aging rules define when content is no longer
managed locally on the service platform cache.
Case Sensitive
A green check mark defines the case sensitive parameter for URL regex as enabled. A red “X” defines
URL regex case sensitivity as disabled. When enabled, the regexp parameter is case sensitive. When
disabled, case sensitivity is ignored.The default setting is enabled.
