In the Confirm window of the Resync Pairs wizard, complete the following and then click
Apply:

For Task Name, type a name for the task.

Character and symbol limit: 32

Allowable characters and symbols: All alphanumeric except \ / : , ; * ? “ < > |

Default: date-task name

For Go to tasks window for status, select to open the task window.

Default: Cleared

The pair is resynchronized (“PAIR” status).

Use the following process to assign an MU number to deleted snapshot data:

Resynchronize the pair.

Store the data for the FS pair.

Deleting Fast Snap pairs

Delete FS pairs when you no longer need them or when you want to delete snapshot data. Deleting
FS pairs deletes snapshot data from the pool and cancels the relationship between the P-VOL and
S-VOLs. You can use the unpaired P-VOL and S-VOLs in another pair.
